What Are The Empress Codes?

The Empress Codes is a live, fourteen-month ceremonial journey through thirteen feminine archetypes, culminating in a final Empress Integration Ceremony. 

Meeting together once each month, we gather in sacred space to explore one archetype through mythology, symbolism, storytelling, meditation, reflection and embodied practice.

Together we'll follow the threads of feminine wisdom wherever they lead.

Some months we'll explore the forgotten stories of women. Others may lead us through folklore, Avalon, the Grail, astrology, Tarot, dreams, symbolism or the natural world. Each archetype becomes a different doorway into the wisdom it carries.

Together we'll explore the gifts each archetype offers, the challenges she invites us to consider, and the deeper questions she awakens within us.

As we do, we'll begin recognising the stories we've inherited about ourselves as women, exploring where they came from and deciding which ones still belong. 

Each archetype becomes a mirror.

An invitation to pause.

To wonder.

To remember.

To embody her wisdom within the landscape of your own life.

The Journey...

Each month begins in ceremony.

You'll be invited to create your own altar, light a candle, gather your journal and step away from the noise of everyday life and together we'll open sacred space before entering the world of one archetype.

Perhaps we'll meet the Priestess and explore the ancient Oracles of Delphi, the Well Maidens and the quiet art of listening to your own inner knowing. Perhaps we'll sit beside the Wild Woman, asking where freedom still calls your name, or perhaps we'll journey with the Witch, exploring the stories that have shaped this word through history and what it might mean to reclaim it for yourself with wisdom, integrity and compassion.

Each gathering weaves together story, mythology, symbolism, guided meditation and reflective journalling. Rather than being told what these archetypes mean, you'll be invited to discover what they awaken within you and we'll gently explore both the gifts and the challenges of each archetype, not to judge them, nor to fix them, but with honesty, compassion and curiosity.

Between our gatherings, you'll continue the exploration through a simple embodiment practice, allowing each archetype to gently accompany you through the month before we meet again.

Slowly, naturally, the threads begin to weave together, until you begin recognising more of yourself.

Together these thirteen archetypal expressions of feminine wisdom weave together, culminating in our final Empress Integration Ceremony.

The Empress

The Empress is not another archetype to master. She is the woman who has learnt to welcome them all.

She knows there are moments for the innocence of the Maiden and moments for the fierce truth of the Wild Woman. She honours the compassion of the Mother, the intuition of the Priestess, the wonder of the Mystic, the wisdom of the Crone and the sovereignty of the Queen.

She no longer believes she must choose between them.

She carries them all.

Not perfectly.

Not every day.

But with growing awareness, compassion and grace.

She understands that each archetype has a gift to offer, each has a shadow to illuminate, and each belongs within the rich tapestry of a woman's life.

Rather than living from one familiar pattern, she has learnt to recognise which expression of feminine wisdom is being called forward in each season of her life.

She is rooted.

Curious.

Compassionate.

Courageous.

Creative.

Intuitive.

Wild.

Wise.

She is not becoming someone new.

She is remembering the fullness of who she has always been and learning to shine in all her glory and gore!

About Nicola

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the stories we tell about women. 

Long before Soulful Wisdom Academy existed, I found myself asking why some women's voices had been remembered while others had quietly faded into the background. Even at university, my dissertation explored why there were no women drivers in Formula One. Twenty-five years later, that question is still largely unanswered, and it taught me that the stories a culture tells about women quietly shape what women believe is possible for themselves.

That same thread continued to lead me towards the women of the wells, the Grail stories, Mary Magdalene, the wise women, the healers, the witches and the priestesses.

Again and again, I found myself asking what these women were really trying to teach us.

Many people know the Rose as a symbol of love, beauty and the Divine Feminine. I love those expressions of the Rose, but over the years she has come to mean something even deeper to me.

For me, the Rose has always been a thread. Every petal seems to unfold another story, another forgotten voice, another doorway into the primordial feminine.

As I followed those threads, I realised they were leading me towards the same place.

The forgotten stories of women.

The wisdom hidden within mythology, folklore, symbolism, nature and ceremony.

The feminine archetypes gave me a language for bringing those threads together.

Over time, they became the heart of the Empress Codes.

Today, it is my privilege to walk beside other women as they explore those same threads in their own unique way, discovering what they awaken within themselves.

Your Invitation

The Empress Codes is being offered live for the very first, and only, time before becoming a self study programme.

Beginning in Autumn 2026, we'll gather once each month for fourteen months, meeting on a Wednesday evening at 7.00 pm GMT time.

Each live gathering will last approximately two hours.

The slower rhythm is intentional.

Rather than rushing through thirteen archetypes, you'll have a full month to live with each one, allowing her stories, symbols and invitations to gently accompany you before we gather again.

Our fourteenth and final gathering is devoted to The Empress.

A beautiful closing ceremony where we gather together the wisdom, gifts and insights of the thirteen archetypes we've explored throughout the journey.
